Cultural Awareness

I approach therapy with humility, openness, and respect. I do not believe I know everything, but I am deeply committed to learning from the unique identities, values, and lived experiences that each client brings into the room. I openly acknowledge differences and power dynamics when relevant and invite conversation around how culture, identity, and systems may shape your experiences. While I bring clinical training into the space, I also believe mutual learning and curiosity are essential to meaningful therapeutic work.

Ready to Begin?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you do not have to do it alone. If you are looking for a therapist who offers warmth, authenticity, and thoughtful support, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, clarity, and growth.

Being a human is not always easy. Life can feel heavy, confusing, and just stuck at times; therapy does not have to be intense or overwhelming to be meaningful. I believe growth can exist alongside humor, lightness, and genuine human connection, and that our struggles do not define us or determine how our story ends.

With over seven years of experience, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to seek support. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or unsure where to begin, my goal is to offer a space that feels supportive, grounding, and real. As Carl Rogers said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

My Approach

  • I believe healing is not linear and often includes both setbacks and resilience. Change can be uncomfortable, but it is always possible.

  • I see you as the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with encouragement, insight, and gentle challenge, not to fix or judge.

  • My style is warm, humorous, and non-judgmental. I prioritize curiosity, trust, and connection, because relationship is often what allows real change to happen.

  • I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic awareness, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, relapse prevention, and SMART Recovery to support insight, regulation, and growth.
