Trauma-informed support and nervous system regulation
Being human can be exhausting. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that once helped them survive but no longer feel aligned with who they are or how they want to live. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of those patterns, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels both grounding and empowering.
I view many coping strategies- including independence, avoidance, people-pleasing, or emotional shutdown- as intelligent survival responses shaped by early relationships and lived experiences. While these strategies may have once been necessary, they can become isolating over time. I believe healing happens through connection and attunement, and that meaningful change is possible when you feel seen, respected, and not alone in the process. In our work together, my hope is that you experience therapy as a steady, collaborative relationship where you can show up as you are.
Approach
I believe healing is not about “fixing” yourself, but about understanding your nervous system, patterns, and needs with compassion.
I view clients as the experts of their own lives and experiences; my role is to support insight, reflection, and choice.
I value honesty, curiosity, and emotional safety as foundations for growth.
I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful vehicle for change.
