Good Girls Don’t Get Angry: Free Virtual Therapy Group for BIPOC Women

Good Girls Don’t Get Angry: Unlearning the Silence is a free virtual therapy group for BIPOC women in Illinois and Michigan who want to explore their relationship with anger, boundaries, and emotional expression.

Many of us were taught that being a “good girl” means staying quiet, accommodating, and agreeable, even when we’re hurt or angry.

This group explores the emotional cost of suppressing anger and creates space to reconnect with anger as a signal of boundaries, needs, and self-protection.

This group is for BIPOC women in Illinois or Michigan who:

  • hold in anger until it feels overwhelming

  • people-please or avoid conflict to keep the peace

  • carry resentment they don’t feel safe expressing

  • feel guilt or shame after expressing frustration
