Life can sometimes feel lonely and overwhelming, especially when navigating things like grief and loss, the stress of caregiving, or simply trying to survive while the world feels like chaos around us. Luckily, therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry these things alone. My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you during life’s most difficult journeys while celebrating the happy moments with you along the way.

In one way or another, we all experience things in life that truly challenge us and change the way we see the world, yet still, we survive. I recognize the importance of those ways of coping that have gotten you through your hardest moments, and I’m here to witness and hold space for every version of you that has gotten you to where you are today. Together, we can explore the things that have worked for you and what you would like to continue to carry with you as you create a life that truly feels worth living.

My Approach

  • I believe everyone deserves and has the ability to heal their wounds.

  • I believe that, instead of feeling dry and clinical, therapy should feel down to earth and real, just like you.

  • My style is warm yet direct, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental (with some humor sprinkled in)

  • I believe that the most important aspect of counseling is the therapeutic relationship and strive to help create a connection that feels safe and meets you where you’re at.

I consider myself an eclectic therapist and draw from multiple modalities, depending on what works best for each individual. Coming from an attachment-based and person-centered perspective, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and parts work into sessions.
