Anxiety can make it difficult to feel present, make decisions, or trust yourself. We'll explore what's contributing to those feelings and work on understanding your emotions rather than constantly feeling controlled by them.
-
Figuring out who you are isn't always straightforward. Maybe your priorities are changing, or you're questioning expectations you've lived with for years. Therapy can help you explore those questions without feeling pressured to have all the answers.
-
Relationships can bring out patterns we don't always recognize in ourselves. Whether you're struggling to communicate, set boundaries, or feel understood, we'll look at what's happening and how you can approach those connections differently.
-
It's difficult to trust yourself when you're constantly questioning whether you're good enough. We'll explore where those doubts come from, how they affect your choices, and what it might look like to feel more confident in yourself.
-
Growing up comes with a lot of expectations, decisions, and changes. I work with teens and young adults navigating friendships, identity, emotions, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their futures before they're ready.
-
Starting something new, ending a relationship, changing roles, or entering a different stage of life can bring unexpected emotions. Therapy can help you make sense of those changes and figure out what matters most moving forward.
Therapy for Anxiety, Identity & Relationships
You get to decide what growth looks like for you.
I believe therapy works best when we're working together. You bring your experiences, your perspective, and your understanding of your own life. I bring questions, support, and a willingness to look at things from different angles.
My style is collaborative, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, even when you're still figuring out what that means.
Sometimes our work will involve looking at patterns or asking questions that aren't easy to answer. Other times, it might mean recognizing how far you've already come.
I believe growth happens when we have room to reflect, feel supported, and challenge ourselves in ways that make sense for us.
Therapy for Identity, Self-Worth & Personal Growth
You don't have to have yourself completely figured out.
Sometimes the hardest part of growing is realizing that the person you've been doesn't quite match the person you're becoming.
Maybe you're questioning old beliefs, trying to feel more confident, or noticing that you've spent a lot of time making decisions based on what other people expect.
I enjoy helping people explore those questions without judgment or pressure to arrive at a particular answer.
I also recognize that identity doesn't exist separately from culture, family, relationships, and lived experiences. Those parts of your life deserve to be understood, not overlooked.
My role isn't to tell you who you should be. It's to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and feel more confident making choices that reflect what matters to you.
Culturally Grounded Care
I recognize that therapy is a vulnerable experience and deeply value each client's perspective and lived experience.
While I strive to be a source of support to all clients, I continually challenge myself to approach this work with humility, curiosity, and openness. I view therapy as an opportunity to better understand the world around us and honor the many ways people experience it.
Having competency in the varying forms that support may take is an ongoing process, and I remain committed to personal and professional growth that helps me better serve those who trust me with their stories.

Therapy for Identity, Relationships & Personal Growth: Common Questions
-
Yes. It's common to question your identity during major life changes or when you realize that certain roles and expectations no longer fit. Therapy can help you explore what matters to you, how your experiences have shaped you, and what you want moving forward. You don't need to have a clear answer before we begin.
-
Confidence isn't always about feeling good about yourself every day. Sometimes it's about trusting your decisions, understanding your needs, and being willing to make mistakes. We'll explore what contributes to your self-doubt and how those beliefs influence your choices. From there, we can work toward a more balanced understanding of yourself.
-
Teens and young adults often deal with anxiety, friendships, family expectations, identity questions, and pressure about the future. Therapy gives them a place to talk openly, understand their emotions, and develop skills for handling challenges. I approach this work collaboratively while respecting each person's perspective and growing independence.
-
Couples therapy can help partners better understand their communication patterns, recognize recurring conflicts, and explore what each person needs from the relationship. Sometimes the goal is improving how you talk to each other. Other times, it's understanding why certain situations keep becoming difficult. We'll work together to identify what feels important to address.
-
Culturally responsive therapy recognizes that our experiences are shaped by family, culture, community, identity, and the environments we live in. I approach this work with curiosity and humility rather than assuming I understand someone's experiences based on their background. I want you to feel comfortable bringing every part of yourself into our conversations, including perspectives that may be different from my own.
